Announcing The 2017 LTYM Grand Finale!

by monicagebell on October 9, 2016

You heard that right: in the two weeks leading up to Mother’s Day in May, 2017, 33 cities will be producing the Grand Finale season of Listen To Your Mother–and Rochester will join its sister cities on stage!

This summer, we said a teary so-long (but not goodbye!) to our Emily Horowitz, who has relocated to Colorado, and who made working on the past two seasons an absolute blast. Emily tells us she’ll be visiting, and will not miss the 2017 show, and we’re holding her to it!

We are also so happy to announce that joining our team as an official assistant this season will be 2016 cast member Sally Bittner Bonn! (More about Sally to come–we’re just thrilled she’s with us!)

Our Rochester production team is so proud to have been a part of this nationwide effort to lend Motherhood a voice, all the while supporting local women, local families, and local businesses. To date, twenty-six brave writers have shared with Rochester their stories, which have made us realize that there is true unity when we put our diverse voices together.

How can you be a part of this epic celebration of our mothers/our caretakers, and ourselves ?

Subscribe to our monthly newsletter (just once per month–no spam here) for updates about auditions, ticket sales for our live shows, book news, and alumni news from hundreds and hundreds of amazing creative women and men who’ve graced our stages. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram,Pinterest, and Twitter. As we anticipate 2017, enjoy 2000 videos from past seasons on our LTYMShow YouTube channel.

We cannot wait to bring you another rollicking ride through the highs and lows, the joys and pains, the wonders and frustrations, the hilarity and the gravitas that is Motherhood: on May 13th, at 7:30 p.m. at the Lyric Theater, we’ll do just that.

And you’ll be there.
