JULIE CAMPBELL is an actress, writer, teaching artist, blogger, wife, and mother of three. She has lived, worked, and/or performed all over the United States. Some of her favorite moments onstage include taking on many characters in her one woman show, Miss Texas in NYC, playing MacBeth and Hamlet in gender bending versions of both plays, and hanging out over the audience on a low flying trapeze in the circus inspired play, He Who Gets Slapped. These days, Julie keeps her feet on the ground playing an understanding mom of teens and using her improv skills to keep it all moving forward at home.
When she is not texting to arrange carpools, Julie also works as an audiobook narrator, voiceover artist, and is a company member and teaching artist at Midtown Direct Rep (MDR) in residence at The Woodland in Maplewood, New Jersey. At MDR she created a writing and performance program, U Gotta Hear This! for middle school students to experience the exhilaration and empowerment that comes from sharing one’s story.
You can catch her on stage this summer in the critically acclaimed, world premiere Off-Broadway production, The Crusade of Connor Stephens.
