LTYM Northern Utah – Announces Local Cause

by admin on March 6, 2013

Included in the Listen To Your Mother mission, is donating to a non-profit cause that supports women, children, and families. 10% of ticket sales from every city will be donated to a local cause.

LYTM Northern Utah is excited and honored to announce the support of The Utah County Children’s Justice Center for our debut 2013 show.

The Children’s Justice Center is a home-like facility that aims to help families and children who are dealing with the chaos that comes from physical or sexual abuse of a child.

The Center is designed to help children feel safe and comfortable so that they can begin to deal with the difficult and frightening issues that surround abuse. The focus and function of the Children’s Justice Center is to reduce the trauma of the child abuse investigation and help the child feel safe to reveal the truth. They provide an invaluable service to families dealing with such unthinkable trauma.
Each year funds are raised for the Children’s Justice Center through the Dollhouse festival. The event is laden with wonderful ways to give to and support the CJC. There is a fundraising dinner, dollhouse auction, and my favorite part, the Boutique. Amazing women and men donate their products to the boutique where you can come and buy them for much less than retail. Buntings and banners, blankets, doll clothes, chalkboards, etc… Your favorite projects and items from Pinterest, donated from your favorite bloggers and store owners. Usually held in September, you don’t want to miss it.
You can also support the Children’s Justice Center by liking them on Facebook, Twitter, and even on YouTube.

I hope you will join us on Thursday May 9th at Thanksgiving Point, to “Give Mother’s Day a Microphone” and support the Utah County Children’s Justice Center. Buy Your Tickets HERE!
