Final Rehearsal. Next step? The show!

“You don’t write because you want to say something, you write because you have something to say.”
 F. Scott Fitzgerald

Last Sunday, the cast of Madison’s 2013 LTYM show ditched the table and instead took to the stage at the Barrymore. Don’t worry, you didn’t miss the show. It was our second and final rehearsal.

This is the first year that we’ve been able to rehearse in the Barrymore before show day and it was wonderful. It was so great to be in the theater and get a feel for the stage and the space.

Before we did a run through, Ann gave out many words of wisdom from nerves (“You should be nervous! It means you’re alive!”) to what to wear (“Maybe a super short skirt isn’t the best idea since we’ll be sitting on the stage…“) and to our five minutes of fame (“Dedicate your piece in your mind to someone…”)

After Ann’s wise words there was nothing left to do but do a run through. I have to say, being on stage again was a thrill. Nothing like it will be on Mother’s Day but a blast none the less.

Everyone did amazing… we are ready!

The only thing left to do is have you in the audience. If you haven’t bought your ticket there’s still time! You can either buy them online at, by phone at 608-241-8633,and available at all Barrymore Outlets, The Century House gift shop and Happy Bambino.

Thank you again to the Barrymore for letting us rehearse in the theater. It was a privilege.
