Local Madison Businesses Supporting LTYM (& Century House giveaway winner!)

by admin on April 12, 2013

This year’s Listen To Your Mother Madison show would not be possible without the help of our wonderful local sponsors. Here is a little bit of information about the local businesses that we are very pleased to have supporting us.

LOGO 01 At AJ Bombers, they do more than make amazing burgers and sweet potato chips. They also know how to have fun! With peanut bombs that get zip-lined to your table and a casual atmosphere with writing covering the tables and walls, it is a restaurant that the whole family will enjoy.

AJ Bombers is  supporting both LTYM: Madison and LTYM: Milwaukee as a regional sponsor this season!!

In their 65th year of Making Madison Modern, The Century House continues to outfit homes and offices with the best in modern and Scandinavian furnishings. Started in 1948 by Jane and Max Howell, this furniture store and gift store has been a go to for a special birthday present, wedding gift or that coveted piece of furniture.

Congratulations to Chris Watermolen, winner of our Century House giveaway!

Melissa Austin is a cop-turned-activist, film producer, mom to three, and the incredible photographer at 2nd Street Photography. She shoots everything from portraits and Bar Mitzvahs, to weddings and special events, in her signature photo-journalistic style and with a delightfully unobtrusive manner. This will be Melissa’s second year shooting the Madison LTYM: Show, and she gave away a free portrait sitting to one of our commentors!

At Dragonfly Hot Yoga they believe that yoga is for “every shape, every size, every person.” They have locations in both Fitchburg and Middleton and offer a variety of classes, from Fusion to Prenatal yoga. Their inviting and outgoing instructors will make even the most timid beginners feel comfortable and welcomed.

The  massage therapists at Elements Therapeutic Massage will always listen to your needs in order to deliver a truly therapeutic experience. Their massages have many benefits, including increased circulation and reduced stress. Their location in Middleton has hundreds of available appointments per week and is the perfect place to get away to rejuvenate yourself and feel all of the positive effects therapeutic massage can have on your health and well-being.

The Purple Goose isn’t your average boutique with strict rules and a museum-like feel. They offer women and children’s clothing, accessories, and a variety of gifts. Unlike the typical boutique, they offer products at affordable prices and encourage you to do things like bring your kids and sip a cup of coffee while you shop.

Half-Pint Resale is Madison area’s largest children consignment sale for kids ages 0-12 and pregnant moms. The sale occurs one weekend each spring and fall and is run by two moms and over 300 volunteers. They sell toys, clothes, and nursery furniture just to name a few.

Don’t miss out on Half-Pint’s huge sale on April 20 & 21!

Lakeside Coop red bug

At Lakeside Press printing co-op, you can photocopy or print anything from posters to business cards. They are Madison’s only neighborhood copy shop and besides offering all of their equipment and services to anyone on a walk-in basis, they also serve as a meeting spot for locals, with walls covered with information on upcoming events.

Happy Bambino is both a store and a resource center that specializes in bellies, babies and breastfeeding. They offer the latest baby products and parental education and support. They even host classes and special events like parties and parenting expos. It is a one stop shop for all of your new parent needs.

TRC_Logo GraphicThe Roman Candle Pizzeria is a place where family and friends can get together for good times and even better food. The restaurant was created as an homage to the restaurants of Europe where people go for delicious food, drinks, and great conversation. With Willy Street, Middleton, and Fitchburg locations, each restaurant and menu varies to cater to the taste of its neighborhood.

Tex Tubb’s Taco palace is the place for tacos, tequila, and  fun! Tex Tubb’s makes sure our entire LTYM cast and crew is well fed backstage, generously providing our hospitality with their delicious food.

LTYM: Madison thanks all of our local sponsors for their support in helping give Mother’s Day a Microphone. See you at The Barrymore!
