A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words

by admin on June 7, 2012

It occurred to me this afternoon after reading a great post by LTYM National Director Ann Imig about how the show changes lives that Tracey and I haven’t yet shared any of the beautiful professional photos from our show day. Even though pictures can’t truly express every thought and emotion of actually being there, the great ones are worth a thousand words and come pretty close. I’ve chosen some of my favorites to share with you here. All photos were shot by Rob Krueger Photography! (Thanks, Rob!!!)

Seeing the marquee for the first time caused it to get all real up in here.

Everyone loves this interesting angle. Creative, no?

I love this picture so much because I am absolutely sure that Nancy was NOT scolding Lou, but that's what it looks like.

Brandie kicked off our inspiration in choosing our cause (Bright Pink)...

...and as we got to know our Katy, we were doubly happy about our selection.

This is one of my favorite shots of the evening. Perfect duet.

Alisha mesmerized with her soft-spoken, heartfelt piece.

Stephanie read a powerful piece about when the father of the child makes himself scarce.

Expressive Megan was our lone professional: in fact, a bunch of us are going to see her tell another story at an event this weekend!

Pretty sure this was taken right after Karen stopped reading long enough to tell the audience how much fun she was having.

Judy dazzled the audience with the combination of her prim and proper appearance and her fall-on-the-floor-funny piece.

Tracey and I, though better rested than a month ago, are still on a high from this show. We sat together in her home on Tuesday, just the two of us, watching the show and laughing and crying all over again. This was definitely a life-milestone for both of us and we are so grateful over and over and over again that we are a part of it.

We can’t wait for you all to see the show on YouTube this summer!

Our show and cast was TOTALLY AWESOME. People should watch them as soon as their videos are available on YouTube. I AM SERIOUS!

Rob did a fantastic job, and I’m so grateful. Beautiful pics.
