Meet the Cast | Ronda Perry

by Anna Hartman on April 11, 2016

Ronda-PromoRonda Perry has personality and perspective, and she’ll read her essay “If These Wall Could Talk” on May 1st at Sottile Theatre.

Although Ronda grew up on the West Coast in the Los Angeles basin, she calls Charleston home along with her husband and two adult children. She began writing at the age of seven just to entertain her family and has continued in her passion ever since. With a large dose of humor, she enjoys writing and speaking about being a transparent woman who loves Jesus and her family.

After bouncing around, taking a few semesters here at this college and a few semesters there at that university, Ronda has been able to realize her dream of going to seminary and enrolled at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Even though life (and her budget) have not allowed her to attend continuously, she continues to plug along working toward the ever elusive Masters of Divinity.

Ronda has published works of fiction and has presented at Mental Health and Psychology symposiums. She has written and published many works on Biblical and spiritual topics and has been privileged to share and speak on a national level. Currently, Ronda is working on a children’s book series with the first book, “Scary Thing’s Visit,” due out this year! Meanwhile, she continues to write, eat chocolate, study, try to make it to the gym, read, work, love on her family, and avoid spiders at all cost!

Old-fashioned with plenty of edge, she stares down the barrel of pad answers and preconceived ideas and encourages all women to celebrate the unique, fearfully and wonderfully made person they were created to be.

Remember that when you purchase tickets, we will donate tickets to a Lowcountry nonprofit, so that a mother can attend who might not otherwise have been able to. Click here for tickets.
