A team of more than 80 women across the country have worked for months and months (and months) in anticipation of this moment. As I described it last year– LTYM stands on the shoulders of giants. Without these bold, brave, generous visionaries, LTYM would be one little show in Madison, Wisconsin.

Because of these women, the creative and organizational force behind each and every local LTYM show…

The best part? Now we get to share the stories with you!!

In 2014 LTYM is giving Motherhood a Microphone from coast to coast, in 32 cities with shows from Texas to Washington State, Utah and Colorado all across the Midwest, down to Arkansas and all along the East Coast from Massachusetts to South Carolina. Altogether, our national team is celebrating 400 amazing stories this season.

This weekend kicks off our 2014 season with eight shows spanning the next four days: Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Nashville, Northern Utah, and The OC!

Just three years ago at this time LTYM launched its first national season with five cities. You know who has served as LTYM’s loyal companion since that fledgling national expansion? Who helped plant the first seeds of LTYM inspiration with their Community Keynote (now #VOTY) featuring bloggers reading their writing on stage? Whose trailblazing efforts brought bloggers together into an online community leading the women’s web, and helped us build a bridge from that online community to real-life friendships and creative partnerships? Whose conferences allow many of us to reunite every year and celebrate writing online and all the places it has taken us?

Our National Media Sponsor, BlogHer. THANK YOU BLOGHER!!!

LOVE this all. And I just can’t say enough of what this experience does for the world. It really is that huge. Because it’s one person, one listen at a time… and that’s the special formula of it. We get to listen, we get to be with each other. It’s beautiful.

Love how all the producer/directors pics were of happy, smiling faces. I’m very grateful for our team of Alexandra Rosas and Jennifer Pody-Gaskell who have made the Milwaukee show a gem that we are excited to share with the world. I help senors write their memoirs and I KNOW the world would be a better place if everyone would Listen to their mothers. LTYM gives me a chance to put my beliefs out there to share with others. I hope that the show keeps growing to other cities.
