This Monday morning empty arms ache in Newtown, Connecticut. Nothing can console that depth of despair, save for the very person now painfully and tragically absent from loving arms.
May the people of Newtown feel our arms encircling theirs–holding them in their pain and holding hope, too. May those of us not directly affected by this tragedy weave our sadness into action–whether in thought, in deed, or both. Let us lend our energy (prayers, money, signatures, voice) to those and for those who cannot at this time.
If you feel inclined, 12/21/12 at 9:36 a.m. EST, please join in 5-minutes of prayer (or silence, or simply the vibration of love,) for all those affected by this tragedy.
