They’re here! The Snapfish LTYM 2012 Commemorative Books are here!!

by Ann on July 19, 2012

I devoted a couple weeks in June to creating a Snapfish photo book to capture the incredible spirit of our 10-city LTYM 2012 season, and it just arrived. I’m overjoyed by how the books came out, and I cannot wait for all of our cast members to receive their copies.

I made my first photobook on Snapfish in 2008 as a way to make my own non-pastel/fill-in-the blank baby book. Since that time, they keep improving the interface–making the process so easy and fun. For instance, I could upload dozens (sometimes hundreds) of photos in a matter of minutes, and easily copy and paste text from documents straight into their photo-book maker. When I’d finish the entire project, I decided to move all the pages around and could do so with ease.  Perhaps my favorite feature is an easy “undo” arrow, where you can back up not just one step–but several steps–to correct errors or change your mind.

More than anything though, the weight in my arms of this beautiful keepsake–and leafing through the pages full of gorgeous women, men, and stories–is a piece of my heart I can now hold in my hands. Thank you Snapfish, for this treasure.

Thanks to the help of the local directors and producers who fielded my many requests for photos uploaded this way, and cast mailing addresses downloaded that way. Thanks to all the cast members who contributed quotes, and thanks to the talented photographers who documented each show. A very special thank you for the generosity of our premier national sponsor Snapfish by HP, who is providing each cast member a copy they should find on their doorstep any day!

p.s. Check out Snapfish’s brand new 11×14 lay-flat book for a coffee table worthy finished-product

I agree. That is something the internet and digital can never replace. The feel of a book in your hands, while you have a quiet moment or an excited reunion: the pictures to pass your hand over and feel the moment again.

I can’t wait to see it in real life at BlogHer! Great work, Ann—you are inspiring on so many levels and I love that you have created a space for other women to inspire those around them, too!
