Snapfish Photo Book Ideas from LTYM for Mother’s Day. It’s Not Too Late!

by Ann on April 26, 2012

This Tuesday LTYM announced Snapfish‘s debut as our premier national sponsor. In celebration of our brand new partnership, 6 bloggers created custom photobooks as Mother’s Day Gifts, using Snapfish’s new Mom-themed templates:

Every mother should have the chance to sit down and get lost in her photos for an afternoon. When you’re asked what you want for Mother’s Day this year, ask for a glass of wine and time to create your own Snapfish photo book. –Nichole, In These Small Moments (LTYM: San Francisco cast)

We are not a pair of moms but two individuals who love and parent distinctly. In making this photo book specifically for Gabriella, I realized that it is essential not to cancel each other out because we are two mothers on Mothers’ Day but to celebrate and honor the special relationship we each have with our boys.Deborah, Peaches and Coconuts (LTYM: NYC Cast)

I know this is a digital world and all, but I enjoy looking at photos that are not on a screen. There’s a permanence to it, and I also see it as an art. And so, I decided to make this photo book for me. I am celebrating myself this Mother’s Day.Stephanie, Adventures In Babywearing (LTYM: Northwest Indiana Director/Producer)

Hats off, Snapfish.  It was easy and the end result is gorgeous.  How easy?  I made the book in about three hours with all four kids loose in the house.  Only two temper tantrums and/or fights with injury incidents occurred while my focus was on Snapfish.  It could have been much shorter, but I spent a lot of time playing with page layouts because they are so much fun.Stacey, Is there any mommy out there? (LTYM: Spokane Director)

…in the interest of a great Mother’s Day gift for Mazzy’s well-deserving grandmothers…I decided to give Snapfish photo books a shot and perhaps, finally succeed at completing one. But can I do it and make it back to the pool before sundown?…About an hour later, my perfect Mother’s Day gift was ready to order. –Ilana, MommyShorts (LTYM: NYC Cast)

Snapfish has some really cool layouts including new Mother’s day templates (I chose Letterpress for Mom) which are clean, easy to use, and all around pretty. There is a simple drag and drop design tool, and you can import your pictures straight from Facebook or Flickr which rocks in case you are like me and constantly find yourself going ‘now where did I store that dang thing?”  Plus the best thing ever – you can save and come back to the project later- which was awesome for me as I am frequently dropping whatever I am doing to rescue Huckleberry from a Boss headlock or racing someone to the potty.Stephanie, Dial M for Minky (LTYM: DC Director)

LTYM wishes to thank Snapfish for giving six of our cast member the opportunity to Imagine Create and Share Mother’s Day photobooks this season, and for supporting creative online women at LTYM shows across the country. There’s still time to make Mother’s Day special for someone in your life with a uniquely beautiful Snapfish photobook keepsake!

My book is scheduled to arrive today and I’m on pins and needles waiting for it.
I loved looking at all of the other books…now I have so many new ideas for my next one.
Thank you so much for including me in this fun project.
