They’re up! Go watch the masterful Listen To Your Mother: Austin that Jennifer and Wendi put together. You can watch each Austin reader here on LTYM Show’s youtube page. We will roll out the other cities in stages and soon.

A HUGE thank you to the remarkable Austin cast, who each brings their own story and unique variation on the motherhood theme to this unforgettable Austin premiere LTYM show:

Krystin Crane Johnson kicks off the show with her barca-lounger travails and triumphs.

Gigi Ross contemplates her son’s–and her own–resilience.

Esther Mizrachi Moritz tries to get her Mom’s sambusak just right.

Blythe Jewell mines her poetic soul for that pee smell and the lollipop in her hair.

Jennifer Newcomb Marine shares how a birth brought her fractured family together.

Cathy Hale makes the early years of motherhood into the best list ever.

Kathryn Harrison’s letters of love ties three generations of mothers together.

Diane Le Bleu’s unexpected gift brings gratitude to a new level.

Jennifer Sutton wonders over the complexity of her daughter’s beloved pink bikini.

Jenny Lawson shares her hilarious take (actually three) on parenting and judgment.

Kimber Cockrill gives a nuanced look into mother/daughter relationships when things get (very) complicated.

Julie Coombes pays homage to motherhood’s surrender to yes.

Elizabeth McGuire tries to loosen the cord.

Kristin Armstrong weaves the roles and work of motherhood into a glorious curriculum vitae.

and Wendi AaronsBaby Fever takes her by surprise, and leaves the audience laughing.

With deep appreciation and many thanks to Austin photographer and videographer Carlton Wade for capturing the production so beautifully. Please visit Austin sponsors Milk and Honey Spa, Skandinavia Texas and the venue AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center--who enabled such a beautiful Austin production.

10 percent of Austin’s ticket proceeds benefit two causes.  Any Baby Can works to improve the lives of children by strengthening them and their families through education, therapy and family support services. Each year, the agency serves more than 6,000 of the youngest, sickest, and poorest children and their families in the Central Texas area.  LTYM’s national cause City of Joy provides necessary skills and support for survivors of gender violence in Bukavu Democratic Republic to rebuild and transform their lives.

Thank you Austin, and we hope to see you again next year!!
